About the labs
I took CNIT 255 at Purdue in spring 2019. It was my first Java programming class outside of high school, and this repo collects labs 2 through 6 from it.
- Lab 2: string handling in a simple, single-class program.
- Lab 3: a basic chat system split across multiple classes.
- Lab 4: building on Lab 3 by breaking it into more classes for addresses, contacts, and names.
- Lab 5: a calculator with a GUI, built in NetBeans with Swing.
- Lab 6: inheritance and interfaces, with student and grad student classes extending a person class, plus a Swing GUI.
